The Sporades Islands are an integral part of our cruises which are enjoyed by all of our clients. Upon reaching the beautiful Skiathos we will take a tour of the island, visiting the famous castle, the cave of Fonissa, the Lala'rja Beach and the stunning islets of Tsougkrja. From Skiathos, we can head towards the neighbouring island of Skopelos, which is an island that is extremely popular with visitors from all over the world. |

| On our journey to Skopelos, we pass the cape of Artemi'sjo,
where naval battle between the Greeks and the Persians of Xerxes
took place many years ago. Upon arrival at Skopelos, we take a tour
of island and also visit the charming villages of Glossa, Agnonta
and the main town of Skopelos. On the east of Skopelos is the famous island of Alonissos, where you can enjoy a unique Ecological Cruise. This part of the Sporades islands is known as the "Sea Park", and is home to the famous "Monachus-Monachus" seal ( Mediterranean monk seal ), which is a protected species on the island. Alonissos is a fantastic island to visit, with many interesting things to see and do. The National Marina Park of the Sporades was founded in 1986, and was the first marine park in Greece. Today, the seapark is a paradise for wildlife, flora and fauna, and as well as the "Monachus-Monachus" seal, offers protection for a variety of endangered species and wildlife. As part of our cruise, we will visit the archaeological park that is located between Alonissos and the small islet of Peristera. In these waters there are many ancient shipwrecks, and the area is popular with divers. Our cruise also includes visits to the gulf of Ge'raka, the cave of Fokias ( meaning Seal ), the beach of Saint Dimitrios and the desert islands Gjoy'ra and Ska'ntzoyra. |
